Who are we?

Adam and Veronica brought SUP to Mexico in 2006 when nobody had seen it down here, the only previuos paddlers were the xzx on Xochimilco!!.driving down from a trip in Canada Adam was encouraged by his long term friends at Starboard that he should bring a board down and try surfing the waves with it. Upon arrival, with this board now famously named Planchis, Adam learned to SUP surf at Burros on this Starboard 11ft x 27 wide board that was the first generation SUP available in the market. Summer of 2007 on the next vacation to the USA Adam brought 5 boards back for some friends and imediatley upon arrival 10 more friends wanted boards. Another trip up to the states and Pacific Paddle was born, now 6 year later we are buying boards by the 100’s to satisfy the demand in Puerto Vallarta and the rest of Mexico!

Why buy in Mexico

With airlines charging as much as $200+ to transport your SUP one way! the cost of bringing your SUP down to Mexico and risking damage is not worth it. Pacific Paddle buys direct form the manufacterer imports boards by the hundreds into Mexico, and sell boards for the same price as you will find in the shops in USA and Canada, actually less if you consider the sales taxes! So this makes it a no brainer!! We also have an amazing selection of quality boards on hand made in Thailand, from companies that have 20+ years manufacturing boards, not from China where lots of people are scrambilng to make boards as cheap as they can with no cheap materials and no R&D or shape.
